THE PURPOSE
Thracian Roots is a music and multimedia project about the timeless war between good and evil. It forges a sonic fusion between ancient Thracian/Slavic folk vibes, and the modern, mechanized & electronic world. The songs include potent lyrics that tell Christian-influenced stories about the course and trajectory of civilization with brutal honesty.
- It is a reflection of our existence in this spiritual war zone.
- It is an auditory documentary of the perilous gauntlet we all must cross.
- It is a fearless indictment against the powers and principalities of the devil, its demons, and its many earthly servants.
- It is a testimony to the power of God’s will for us to prevail over evil, and for His divine love and mercy as described by Jesus Christ.

NOTICE REGARDING YOUTUBE:
The original Thracian Roots channel was orphaned by Google account security bots for some obscure reason. Multiple Google account restore attempts were denied without cause. During that same time, our website was attacked and breached by a machine in northern Virginia 😉 … And our streams on major music streaming services like Spotify instantly flatlined.
Coordinated or coincidence? You decide. All three events happened within a few days of each other. But we never had a single YouTube policy violation or copyright strike… ever. Our website was/is well-hardened, and we never had any violation warnings on any other streaming service. We even had to submit copyright take-down requests against our own orphaned channel just to get YouTube to remove our own content… totally shameless LoL.
Many thanks to those who supported our original channel. Since this action by Google basically erased 3-years of hard work (over 100 videos and hundreds-of-thousands of streams) on YouTube without real justification, we will not be investing any effort into YouTube moving forward. You can find us on BitChute or Instagram (for now LoL), as well as most major music streaming platforms.
Thank you and God bless!
More About Our Music…
The musical style is broad and diverse, with some albums blending modern folk/rock/metal and neoclassical layers. Others include a unique fusion of ancient Byzantine, Slavic, and Turkic folk flavors with a post-modern industrial rock-metal-rap edge. Thracian Roots even did a comedy country song once!
All published music by Thracian Roots is written, composed, and recorded by one or more human musicians. With decades of songwriting and recording experience, we don’t need a machine to write songs for us.
In some music videos, AI tools are used for making cool visuals to go with the music, or for post-production audio enhancement purposes (starting in 2026). We always disclose this in the video description. We also release plenty of pure, raw, all-human music and videos.
Thracian Roots music often involves collaborative works with other musicians. A number of songs include featured artists as well as some “hired “work for hire” session musicians.
